Meet Augustine

Augustine Tashinga Mudzudza is a law student, content creator, and competitive speaker at Midlands State University, where he is an active member of the university’s debate society. A semi-finalist and 4th best speaker at the 2024 Southern African Universities Debate Championship, Augustine has established a compelling presence in the Southern African debate circuit.

He also runs the YouTube channel Augustine T, where he reviews books, and he shares his favourite reads on Instagram under the handle @its_august_ine. As a content creator, he currently holds the position of PR manager for his university’s debate union. Augustine is also a writer whose work was shortlisted for the 2024 Carnelian Heart prize for short fiction. You will probably find him listening to Rachel Chinouriri or Taylor Swift.
